A boi-bumbá festival that takes place in Parintins, a river town in the state of Amazonas. The celebration lasts three days and centers on a rivalry between two boi-bumbá groups called Boi Caprichoso and Boi Garantido, which compete parading through the Bumbódromo telling the legend of the death and resurrection of a bull combined with tales and myths from the Amazon Rainforest. The festival is also known as Festa do Boi-bumbá.
